Steve Sweeney Calls Out Mikie Sherrill For Repeatedly Missing Votes While Claiming to Take on trump and Musk

Woodbury, NJ – Today, Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill yet again failed to show up for her job in Congress. If Sherrill really wants to stand up to Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s dangerous agenda, how come she keeps skipping votes to run for Governor instead? This week, alone, she missed 6 out of 8 roll call votes. She keeps saying she runs toward the fight, but her actions show she continues to run from it.

In the 118th Congress, Sherrill missed more votes than 88% of Congresspeople.

Since the start of the 119th Congress, Sherrill has been missing votes left and right. Sherrill has missed a THIRD of all votes in 2025, and she’s missed more votes than a whopping 97% of her Congressional colleagues this year.
