Woodbury, NJ – Today, a group of 21 current and former leaders of Salem County are officially endorsing Steve Sweeney for Governor, praising the former Senate President’s promise to be the quality-of-life governor, his wealth of experience, and his dedication to fighting for the working people of New Jersey.
The backing from this group follows the endorsement by over 250 Camden and Gloucester County leaders and serves as the latest example of how Steve Sweeney is winning the support of New Jerseyans, county by county.
Steve Sweeney has issued to following statement:
“I’m grateful to have the backing of these leaders of Salem County. As your next Governor, I’ll look out for everyone, no matter their zip code. I’ll fight for you to lower costs, protect our communities, and secure a brighter future for all working people, because the people of New Jersey deserve it.”
