Woodbury, NJ – The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 400 proudly announces its endorsement of Steve Sweeney for Governor. As a dedicated public servant with a proven track record of support for working families, Senator Sweeney exemplifies the values that our union stands for: solidarity, opportunity, and innovation.
Steve Sweeney is a union Ironworker and has championed policies that uplift workers and strengthen the middle class for his entire career. As Senate President, he has focused on job creation, infrastructure investment, and equitable workforce development, ensuring that all New Jersey residents have the chance to thrive, and he took on billionaires who tried to stiff union workers out of their wages.

These initiatives both created more jobs and improved energy reliability.
