Welcome to the 2024 New Jersey League of Municipalities conference. It’s good to be together with leaders who are committed to improving lives in New Jersey.​

Many of you know me, either personally or from my time serving as Senate President. For over 20 years, my family and I have called the same home in New Jersey our own, where we raised our two children, Stephen and Lauren. Like all families, we’ve faced our share of challenges—whether it’s paying bills or putting food on the table. Those experiences have shaped my priorities, which is why I’ve focused on making New Jersey more affordable, protecting workers’ rights, and working closely with communities and stakeholders to address the issues that matter most.​

I hope you can join me on Tuesday at a reception the Building Trades Council is hosting from 4:00-6:00 at Irish Pub (164 St. James Place, Atlantic City, NJ 08401). I hope to see you there.

If you can’t make that, I hope you attend the Gubernatorial Candidates Discussion hosted by David Cruz on the conference Exhibit Floor, Thursday morning, 9:00-10:30.
