Strengthening the Workforce - Increased the minimum wage and required earned sick leave, and strengthened the New Jersey pension system, ensuring greater stability and security for Atlantic County’s workforce.
Expanding Educational Opportunities - Sponsored “The School Funding Reform Act,” which eliminated longstanding inequities in the school funding formula and the Vocational Education Bond Act to expand workforce training in New Jersey public schools.
Making Atlantic County More Affordable - Authored a 2% cap on local government spending, effectively lowering property tax increases and making Atlantic County a more affordable place to live.
